Funeral services for Mrs. Herbert (Frieda) L. Staack, 55, were held in Zion Lutheran church, Wilton Jan. 5 with the Rev. Garth Baker officiating. Burial was in the Oakdale cemetery.

Mrs. Staack died at University hospitals Jan. 2 following a short illness.

The daughter of Wilhelm and Helene Boehlkman Wiebel, she was born in Wilton Jan.1 4, 1918. She was married to Herbert Staack in Wilton Dec. 5, 1937. She spent her life in the Wilton area.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran church and the Lutheran Ladies Aid and Layman's league.

She is survived by her husband, a son, Charles, Muscatine; 2 daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Shirley) Atkinson and Mrs. Gaylord (Shirley) Grosvenor, both of Moscow; 3 brothers, Martin Wiebel, Moline, Ill., and Arthur and Elmer Wiebel, both of Moscow; and 6 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.
