Jerry L. Carlisle, 37, Wilton died April 19 in Mercy hospital, Iowa City after a week's illness.

Services were held April 21 at the Dye Funeral home, Tipton with burial in Overman cemetery, Atalissa.

Mr. Carlisle was born in Atalissa. He married Sylvia Ashton in 1956 in West Liberty. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife; 5 daughters, Nancy, Lucile, Lynne, Valeria and Kathleen, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Carlisle, Atalissa and a sister, Mrs. Paul Grunder, Wilton.
