Funeral services for Rodney Brooke Dierdorff, 73, Moscow, were held at Wilton May 15 with the Rev. Larry G. Willey officiating. Burial was in Muscatine Memorial park.

Mr. Dierdorff died at St. Luke's hospital, Davenport May 12 after a short illness.

Born Dec. 14, 1899 at Osage City, Kans., he was a son of Loyal and Annette Brooke Dierdorff. A former resident of Davenport, he had lived at Moscow for 29 years. He married Helen Dipple on Jan. 4, 1922 at Clinton. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his widow, 5 sons, Newton, in Guam, Ivan, LeClaire, Dene, Moscow, Alan, Muscatine and Curtis, Park Forest, Ill.; 4 daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Walker, Moscow, Mrs. Bill (June) Coons, West Liberty, Mrs. Edward (Colleen) Moeller and Mrs. Ted (Eloise) Renfro, both of Davenport; 26 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
