Last rites for Mabel Seaton, 89, a lifelong resident of the West Liberty area were held Nov. 28 with the Rev. Roy Shaughnessy in charge. Burial was in the Downey cemetery.

The daughter of Izaak and Annie Watson Seaton, who was born in Downey March 7, 1883. She was a member of the Downey Baptist church and a past noble grand of the Rebekahs. She is survived by 2 sisters, Mrs. Zillah Wilson, West Liberty and Mrs. Sada Armstrong, Albany, Wis.
