Funeral services for Fred Ridenour, retired Muscatine county farmer, were held at the West Liberty church Nov. 20 with the Rev. Lawrence Carlton officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge cemetery at West Liberty. Mr. Ridenour died at the Lutheran Homes Nov. 17.

The son of William D. and Ellen Hinkhouse Ridenour, he was born in Cedar county Feb. 16, 1887. He was married to Marzella Marie Walker in Cedar county Nov. 30, 1909.

He was a member of the West Liberty United Methodist church and a 50-year member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge.

He is survived by 2 sons, Forrest and Harold, Atalissa; 2 daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Lela) Isabel, Atalissa, and Mrs. Elmer (Louise) Kline, West Liberty; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife and a grandchild.
