Pearl M. (Marolf) Strause, age 94, of Muscatine, Iowa, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022 at Lutheran Living, Muscatine. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Bentley Funeral Home in Wilton. A visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton, Iowa. Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church, Muscatine or the Muscatine County Humane Society in Pearl's memory.

Pearl was born in Muscatine County, Iowa on January 10, 1928, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Andreas) Marolf. Pearl worked at Hon as an Assembler, retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Muscatine Moose Lodge and the Zion Lutheran Church in Muscatine. Pearl enjoyed gardening, sewing, fishing and taking care of her pet birds.

Pearl will be dearly missed by one brother, Raymond Marolf of Moline, Illinois; four nieces and nephews, David (Liz) Marolf of Prescott Valley, Arizona, Pamela (Mark) Ernat, James (Kerry) Marolf and Michael Marolf, all of Rock Island, Illinois; five great nieces and nephews, Joshua (Ashley) Marolf, Jennifer Marolf, Kathryn Reyes, Anna Marolf and Timothy Marolf; five great-great nieces and nephews, Kierra, Noah, Bella, Evalyn and John James; and one cousin, Joyce Miller of Davenport, Iowa.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Floyd Marolf; one sister, Ruth Collins; and one niece, Myra Funkhouser-Marolf.
