Final rites for Mrs. Lenes V. Kerr, 87, were held at West Liberty March 6 with burial in Oak Ridge cemetery at West Liberty. Mrs. Kerr died at a Muscatine nursing home March 3.

Mrs. Kerr was born July 5, 1884, at Rockford, the daughter of William H. and Adella Williams Buttre. Oct. 21, 1909, she was married at Cedar Rapids to Harvey Kerr. She was a member of the West Liberty Methodist church.

Survivors include 3 sons, William, West Liberty; John, West Branch and Kenneth, Albia; 3 daughters, Mrs. Virginia Stratton, West Branch; Mrs. D. Jane Tranier, Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. Mary Dell Hintz, West Liberty; 14 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

Her husband, 2 brothers and a grandson died earlier.
