Final rites for Henry Grunder, 88, Wilton Junction, were held Jan. 8 in Zion Lutheran church, Wilton Junction. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery.

Mr. Grunder died at his home Jan. 5.

He was born in Muscatine county. He married Lula Walter Feb. 16, 1910. Mr. Grunder was a retired farmer.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Leslie Kruse, Hampton; 2 sons, Harold and Leo, both of Wilton Junction; 2 sisters, Mrs. Amelia Walker, Wilton Junction, Mrs. Walter Marolf, Davenport; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
