Last rites for Albert Lamp, 64, Durant, were held Jan. 6 with burial in the Durant cemetery. Mr. Lamp died Jan. 4 at Mercy hospital in Davenport following a brief illness.

He was born April 15, 1903 in Muscatine County, the son of Herman and Barbara Lamp.

He married Helen Ploen Feb. 4, 1928 at Davenport. The couple farmed in the Durant community until retiring and moving to Durant 2 years ago.

Surviving are his wife, Helen; one daughter, Mrs. Jeanette (Jan) Hanson of Davenport; 4 brothers, George, Madison, S.D., Emil, Davenport and Henry and Leonard both of Durant; and 2 sisters, Mrs. Ida Slems and Mrs. Ella Untiedt, both of Durant.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and 4 brothers.
