Final rites for Mrs. Daisy Duncan Grunder, 63, Wilton Junction, were held Oct. 2 at the Zion Lutheran church with burial in Oakdale cemetery, Wilton Junction.

Mrs. Grunder died at 10:30 a.m. at Muscatine General hospital, following a lengthy illness.

The daughter of J. Carter and Hattie Craig Duncan, she was born May 5, 1904 and was married to Herman Grunder at Muscatine Oct. 2, 1926.

Mrs. Grunder was a member of the Wilton Zion Lutheran church and a lifelong resident of the Wilton Junction area. She and her husband farmed northwest of Wilton Junction for many years.

She is survived by a son, Donald, Wilton Junction; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Koll, Muscatine; 2 brothers, Ralph, Seattle, Wash. and Raymond, Columbus Junction; a sister, Mrs. William (Juanita) O'Brien, Minneapolis, Minn. and 8 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
