MUSCATINE-Kenny Weikert, 83, of Muscatine, died Monday, May 10, 2021 at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport. Funeral services for Kenny will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine, formerly the Geo. M. Wittich Lewis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. with the services starting immediately following at the funeral home. A memorial has been established at the funeral home in memory of Kenny. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com

Kenneth Eugene Weikert was born on November 29, 1937, in Muscatine, the son of Emmett and Mavis (Lutz) Weikert. On November 29, 1958 he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Rosetta 'Rose" Paetz in Muscatine. He retired from the HON Geneva Plant after 37 years. In his younger years, Kenny enjoyed working in the pit crews of the Stock Car races and later racing at Cordova with his son, Tim. Kenny could also often be found working on and restoring cars or watching NASCAR, football and basketball games on tv.

Kenny will be deeply missed by his wife of 62 years, Rose of Muscatine; children, Rick (Pam) Weikert, Springfield, Mo.; Tim (Mendie) Weikert, Muscatine; and Doug Weikert, Little Falls, Minn; four grandchildren, Chrissy Rhone, Hollie (Clint) Oldfield, Miranda (Weston) Chesling and Matthew (Leah) Weikert; 12 great-grandchildren, Sean, Connor, Loki, Clover, Gabriel, Mallarie, Graycee, Candra, Braxton, Mason, Connor and Brooke; brother, Richard Weikert of St. Mary, MO; sisters, Donna (Pete) LaRue of Muscatine, Beverly Marlow of Blue Grass.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Emmett and John.
