Funeral services for Clarence F. Seeley, 79, West Liberty, were held March 8 at the West Liberty Methodist church with the Rev. Harland T. Gant officiating. Burial was in Oakridge cemetery, West Liberty.

Seeley died at his home at 6:35 p.m. March 4 following a brief illness. The son of Albert and Mattie Booth Seeley, he was born July 20, 1887 at Hatfield, Minn.

He married Ellen Heath on Feb. 12, 1908 at Dysart. A member of the West Liberty Methodist church, Mr. Seeley was custodian there at the time of his death. He had formerly worked as a barber and as a member of the West Liberty police force. He was a resident of West Liberty for 54 years.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Margaret) Nissen, Atalissa; a sister, Mrs. Mable Nielsen, Palisades, Minn; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
