Funeral services for Chauncy A. Shetler, 77, were held Jan. 20 at West Liberty. Mr. Shetler died Jan. 17 at the Hawker nursing home in West Liberty following a lengthy illness.

The son of Simon and Mary Sugart Shetler, he was born Oct. 19, 1889 at Atalissa and spent his entire life in the Atalissa and West Liberty communities. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include a brother, Ray Shetler, Atalissa and 3 sisters, Mrs. Nellie Devore, Mrs. Myrtle Cassidy and Mrs. Mae Williams, all of West Liberty.
