Funeral services for Edward Henry Marolf, 66, Moscow, were held Sept. 11 at Wilton Junction with the Rev. Homer Perry in charge. Burial was int he Oakdale cemetery.

Mr. Marolf died Sept. 8 at Muscatine General hospital after a long illness.

The son of Fred and Alice Guder Marolf, he was born Nov. 21, 1897 at Moscow.

He married Ella Wiese June 27, 1918 at Davenport. He was a farmer by trade and was a lofe resident of Moscow.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Hilbert, Moscow; a daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Hilda) Hinrichs, Atalissa; a brother, Fred, Muscatine; 2 sisters, Mrs. Rose Snider, West Liberty, and Mrs. William (Clare) Wiese, Muscatine, 5 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
