Nichols, Ia., Jan. 28. – Word has been received here of the death of Henry J. Kern at Round Up, Montana. His death occurred Sunday and was the result of injuries received in a railroad accident. The deceased was born at Nichols and grew to manhood here. He spent considerable time in France during the World War and was crippled by stepping into a shell hole.
He is survived by his wife and two children. Three brothers also survive. The body will be brought to Nichols for burial but no announcement of the funeral services has been received.
