Rites are pending at the Ralph J. Wittich funeral Home for Lester Lloyd Jameson Sr., 53, of Nichols, whose death occurred at 5:28 p.m. Friday at Muscatine General hospital, following an extended illness. Friends may start calling at the funeral home Sunday evening.
Mr. Jameson was born March 15, 1904, at Nichols and was a life resident of that community. His parents were Malcom and Sarah Deam Jameson. He was an auto mechanic.
Survivors include one son, Lester L. Jameson, Jr., Muscatine; three brothers, Oscar Jameson, Muscatine, and John and Ted Jameson, Nichols; one sister, Mrs. Susie Krueger, Kenney, Neb.; and one grandchild.
Note: Lester served during the Korean War.
