Mrs. Helen R. Scott, 73, died at 2:20 a.m. Sunday at her home, 104 West Seventh street, after an illness of seven months.
Her birth occurred in Muscatine on Dec. 27, 1872, but she went to Goodland, Kas., in 1888, returning to Muscatine about eight years ago. She was the daughter of John and Catherine Detrick Reckenberger. Her marriage to Addison Scott occurred on Dec. 21, 1889, at Phillipsburg, Kas. Mrs. Scott was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist.
The only immediate survivor is a brother, William J. Reckenberger, of this city. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, one sister, one brother and a half-brother.
