Mrs. Emma Jane Mabe, widow of Will Mabe, died at 9:55 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.E. McNeal, Bloomington township.
She was born Dec. 10, 1866, at Warrensburg, MO., the daughter of Alexander and Sally Dye Sling. She had made her home in Wilton township for 11 years before going to Bloomington township.
Surviving are two brothers Tony and John Sling, Muscatine; one sister, Mrs. George Stewert, Wichita, Kas.; one daughter, Mrs. McNeal, and one grandson, Harry McNeal, Bloomington township.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Fairbanks Home for Funerals by the Rev. Ira B. Hawley, pastor of the United Brethren church. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
