F. J. JACOBS,79, LIFELONG COUNTY RESIDENT DIES

Ferdinand F. Jacobs, 79, ill with complications for the past two months, died at Hershey hospital at 2:20p.m. Thursday. His home was at 508 East Eight street. He was a retired carpenter.

Mr. Jacobs, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Jacobs, was born at Wilton April 3, 1864, spending his entire life in the county. He married Ella Huey on May 28, 1891 at Wilton.

Surviving are four sons, George H. Jacobs and Robert P. Jacobs, both of Muscatine, Joe F. Jacobs of Bloomington, Ill., and Harry E. Jacobs of San Antonio, Tex., two brothers, Frank M. Jacobs and Otto J. Jacobs and a sister, Mrs. Lloyd Stuart, all of Muscatine. Eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. Preceding him were his wife, parents and six brothers,

The body is at the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral home and the rites will be conducted there at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Henry Schneider, pastor of the First Presbyterian church in charge. Interment will be in the Greenwood cemetery.
