RESIDENT, DIES

Frank M. Jacobs, 81, who had spent practically his entire life in Muscatine county, died at his home, 127 Maple avenue, at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday after a two years illness.

The son of Peter and Antonia Jacobs, he was born in Muscatine county on Feb. 10, 1862 and married Anna Bueser at St, Mary’s church here on June 25, 1889, the late Rev. J. I. Grieser performing the marriage.

Surviving are his wife, a brother, Adolph Jacobs, and a sister, Mrs. D. L. Stuart, of Muscatine. His parents and seven brothers proceeded him in death.

The body is at the N.W. Meyers Funeral home and will be taken to the residence at 127 Maple avenue at 6 o’clock tonight. The Rosary will be recited at the home at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral rites will be at 10 a.m.

Saturday at St. Mathias church with the Rev. Msgr. W. L. Hannon in charge. Burial will be in St. Mary’s cemetery.
