Services for George William Johnson, 82, Moscow, who died Dec. 12 at a Muscatine custodial home, were held Dec. 14 at Wilton Junction.

The Rev. Robert G. Farr officiated and burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Organist was Mrs. Emma Birkhofer. Pallbearers were Milton House, George Lincoln, John Marolf, and Lyle Birkhofer.

Mr. Johnson was born in 1881 at Stockton.

Surviving are a son, Clarence G. Johnson, St. Paul, Minn.; daughters Mrs. Ray E. Meester, George; and Mrs. Vernon Poppingo, LaVerne, Minn.; and sisters Mrs. Minnie Holst, West Branch, and Liz Hanke, Davenport, and 4 grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters and one grandchild.
