Harold Murdock, 27, Wilton Junction, was killed when the car he was driving missed a wide curve on Highway 22 about 10 miles west of Muscatine and rolled over twice, last Saturday night.
Earl Estabrook, 34, Muscatine, owner of the car and a passenger in it, was treated for minor injuries and released. Both men were thrown from the car.
He was born in Muscatine county and attended Muscatine schools. He married Nancy Blake May 29, 1954. The decedent was employed at Russell-Loy Foundry Co., in Durant.
Surviving are the wife; a son, Ricky; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Murdock of Wilton Junction; 5 brothers, Francis of Rochester, Minn.; Larry with the army; Virgil, Muscatine; Wesley and Joel both at home and a sister, Jule Ann at home.
