Mrs. Alex Grossheim. – The body of Mrs. Alex Grossheim 595 East Front street, who died Friday afternoon at the Barnes hospital at St. Louis, after an operation, will be brought to Muscatine for burial, tonight or tomorrow morning. The funeral will probably be held from the Evangelical Protestant church tomorrow afternoon.

Mrs. Margaret Grossheim was born in Germany and was about 60 years old. She had been ailing in health for some time, and about two weeks ago went to Hot Springs, Ark. An operation was advised and she went to the Barnes hospital at St. Louis. She is survived by her husband, Alex Grossheim, and a sister in Germany, from whom no word has been received for several years.

Mrs. Alex Grossheim – Private funeral services for Mrs. Alex Grossheim, 525 East Front street, who died Friday at St. Louis after an operation, were held at 2:30 o’clock this afternoon at Greenwood chapel. Rev. Karl Michels of the Protestant Evangelical church officiated. Burial was made in Greenwood cemetery.

Services were also conducted Saturday afternoon from the Crematory chapel in St. Louis. The Elks, of which the deceased’s husband is a member, had charge.

At the request of the decedent, the remains were cremated prior to their removal here.
