Mrs. Verne Hubbard.
Funeral services for Mrs. Verne Hubbard, who died at 8 o'clock Monday night at the University hospital in Iowa City, will be held from the home, 111 East Fourth street. Rev. W.H.Rogers of the First Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be made in Greenwood cemetery.
Mrs. Hubbard, who was formerly Miss Cora Tewell was born August 23, 1892 at Aledo, Ill. She married Verne Hubbard, who survives her, Feb. 9, 1917. The couple lived in Muscatine during the last two years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her father, J.M. Geddes, of Aledo, Ill., and one son by a former marriage.
