Mrs. W.A. Hysell.
Mrs. W.A. Hysell, a long time resident of Muscatine, died at 5 o'clock this morning following an extended illness at her home, 613 Hope avenue. A complication of ailments caused her death. She was 69 years old.
Mrs. Hysell, who was formerly Miss Ida May Gunsalus was born in New York on Sept. 12, 1851 and was married to W.A. Hysell on May 16, 1872. Ten children were born to this union, four of whom preceded her in death. She had been a resident of Muscatine for thirty-four years.
To survive, she leaves her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Bessie Schmidt of Muscatine county, Mrs. H.A. Mannhardt of Bay Island, Ill., Mrs. G.A. Alexander, Mrs. F.D. Height and Mrs. H.A. Bracewell, all of Muscatine; one son W.W. Hysell of Erie, Penn.; her aged mother, two brothers, one sister and three grandchildren.
Definite funeral arrangements have not been made pending word from out-of-town relatives.
