Ralph Burrows, 70, lifelong resident of the Muscatine community, died May 3 at a Muscatine nursing home.

Surviving are 3 brothers, William, Walter and Bert Burrows, Muscatine; and a sister, Mrs. Charles Burroughs, Muscatine. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

He was born April 19, 1891 in Cedar county, a son of John and Rosey Adams Burrows.

He had engaged in farming and had also been an employee at the Richard Packing Co.
