Mrs. Ferdinand Dittmer, 84, a resident of Durant for 43 years, died in a Wilton Junction nursing home Feb. 26.

She was born in Muscatine county. The former Anna Broders was married to Ferdinand Dittmer Feb. 28, 1900, in Davenport. The couple engaged in farming in Muscatine county until 1918 when they retired and moved to Durant.

Survivors include the husband; 1 daughter, Mrs. Amanda Mangels, Durant; one son, Allen Dittmer, Davenport; 2 grandsons; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Herman, Waterloo; Ben, Port Angeles, Wash.; and William, Dallas, Tex.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Alvena Duge, Muscatine; and Mrs. Ida Rasck, Waterloo.

Services were held March 1. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.
