Mrs. Armilda Drury Summoned By Death

Mrs. Armilda Drury, an aged and well known resident of this city, passed away shortly after noon today at the county home. Mrs. Drury was 88 years old at the time of her death. Death was due to senility and come after an illness of only about two weeks.

There are no surviving relatives, her husband and only son preceding her in death. She was the widow of William Achilles Drury, who was for years a prominent resident of Illinois. Mr. Drury was also engaged in the grocery business in this city some years ago.

The remains will be taken to the Wittich undertaking parlors, where friends of the deceased may view the remains. Thus far no funeral arrangements have been made.

Drury Funeral

Funeral services over the remains of the late Mrs. Armilda Drury will be held at 2:30 o’clock tomorrow afternoon from Greenwood chapel. Dr. L. M. Grigsby, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church will have charge of the funeral service. Interment will be made in Greenwood Cemetery.
