Mrs. Marietta Stiles, 79, died Sunday at 5:15 p.m. in Northwestern hospital, Minneapolis, Minn., following a long illness.

Born in Atalissa Dec. 7, 1877, she was a daughter of Harvey and Rowena Kline. A resident of the Atalissa community for many years, she had gone to make her home with a daughter in Minneapolis three years ago.

She was married to W. A. Stiles, who died in 1944.

Mrs. Stiles was a member of the Christian church and the Royal Neighbors in Atalissa.

Survivors include one son, Ted, Odebolt, and three daughters, Alice Stiles, Minneapolis, Minn., Evelyn Stiles, Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Rowena Barkalow, West Liberty; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Bert Kline, Atalissa, and Everett Kline, Des Moines, and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Kaufman and Mrs. Ada Strouse, both of Muscatine.
