Mrs. Anna M. Dwyer, 76, died Tuesday at the Wilton Junction nursing home. Death was attributed to complications following a stroke. She had been in failing health for several years.

Mrs. Dwyer was the daughter of F. W. and Mary Doyle and was born Oct. 24, 1880, in Muscatine county. Her father served as a captain in the Civil war. She was a life-long resident of this county. She was married to Dennis J. Dwyer, who preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Mary's church at Wilton Junction.

Surviving are two sons, Felix and Ed Dwyer, both of Wilton Junction; three brothers, Felix Doran and James Doran, both of near Wilton Junction, and George Doran, Grinnell; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Angerer and Mrs. Clarence Budelier, both of near Wilton Junction.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, who was killed in the Aleutian islands during World War II.

Requiem high mass will be held at St. Mary's church in Wilton Junction at 9 a.m. today. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery at Wilton Junction.
