Abraham Nelson of Fruitland Called in Death

Abraham L. Nelson, 66, whose homewas at Fruitland, died at Hershey hospital at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday after a five years illness with a complication of ailments. His entire life had been spent in Muscatine county.

Mr. Nelson was the son of Abraham and Anna Phillips Nelson and was born in Muscatine Aug. 28, 1874. He married Estella Crone in Muscatine on Dec. 14, 1898. He was a carpenter by trade.

Surviving are the widow and two brothers, Benjamin Nelson of Fruitland and Wiley W. Nelson of Muscatine. His parents, three sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.

The funeral rites will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the George M. Wittich Funeral home with the Salvation Army officials in charge. Burial will be at the Muscatine Island cemetery.
