WILLIAM SMITH OF WEST LIBERTY DIES

West Liberty, Ia., Sept. 17.- William Smith, aged 65, died at 7 o’clock this morning at his home five and a half miles southeast of West Liberty, following a heart attack. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
Mr. Smith was born and has lived his entire life on the farm where he died. His is survived by his widow, one son, Earl Smith, one daughter, Mrs. Charles Dahr of West Liberty, one sister, Mrs. Franzel Clark of Muscatine, one brother, Henry Smith of West Liberty, a half-sister, Mrs. Ettie Bottomly of West Liberty, two half-brothers, Clarence and George Smith of West Liberty and eight grandchildren.

William Smith Funeral

Funeral services for William Smith, who died Monday morning will be held Wednesday at 2 o’clock from the Cedar Valley Methodist Episcopal church.
The Rev. Mr. Hehner, pastor of the Methodist church at Nichols, will have charge of the service, with burial in Oak Ridge cemetery at West Liberty.
