ETHEL M. CURTIN

Mrs. Ethel M. Curtin, 78, of Conesville died at 1:15 a.m. today at Muscatine General hospital. She died of complications of an extended illness.
Mrs. Curtin was the daughter of Samuel and Mary Ann Emerson Buser, and was born May 13, 1890, in Conesville, where she became a lifetime resident. She married John T. Curtin on Jan. 26, 1916, at Conesville. A member of the Methodist church, Mrs. Curtin also belonged to the Royal Neighbors lodge.
She is survived by a brother, Ivan Buser of Columbus City; a sister, Mrs. Esther Robbins, Viola, Illinois; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, two brothers, and a sister.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home, with service directed by Rev. Earl Josten. The body is at the Ralph Wittich Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Conesville Cemetery.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Ralph J. Wittich funeral home for Mrs. Ethel m. Curtin, 78. Rev. Earl Josten was in charge of the service with Mrs. Floyd Scott as the organist.
Pallbearers were Charles Shellabarger, Russell Shoppa, Dean Milder and John Coffin. Burial was at the Conesville cemetery.
Mrs. Curtin died Monday morning at Muscatine General hospital.
