Funeral services for Louis F. Pruess, 73, of Ainsworth, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Sherman-Eden funeral home at Washington, Ia. Interment will be at the Nichols cemetery.
A retired farmer, Mr. Pruess was reared and educated in the Nichols area. He was born Sept. 14, 1895, at Davenport. He was married Oct. 8, 1914, at Davenport, to Vearl E. Walter.
He is survived by his widow, at Ainsworth; one son, Kenneth Pruess of Iowa City; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
