Frank K. Longstreth, 65, lifelong resident of Muscatine county, died at 7:40 a. m. today at Bellevue hospital after an illness since Sunday. His home was in Moscow township on route 2.
Mr. Longstreth was born on March 19, 1883, in Muscatine county, the son of Isaac and Mary Van Camp Longstreth. He married Louvina Law on March 31, 1909, in Muscatine. Mr. Longstreth was of the Methodist faith and had served as assistant janitor at the courthouse here until his illness.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Vernon and Edwin Longstreth, both of Muscatine; four daughters, Mrs. Behard Ebertowski, Davenport, Mrs. Harold Hartley, Cedar Rapids, Margaret, at home, and Marjorie Longstreth, Oskaloosa; one brother, Elra Longstreth, Lawrence, Kas.; one sister, Mrs. Richard Key, Lawrence, Kas.; six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother in infancy.
The body is at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral home where services will be conducted at 2:30 p. m., Sunday by the Rev. James Worrell of Delta, la., formerly of Muscatine. Interment will be in the Klein cemetery.
