NICHOLS – Mrs. Nellie May Norris, 82, died Friday at her home in rural Nichols after an extended illness.
Private funeral services will be Sunday at the Snider Funeral Home in West Liberty, with the Rev. Russell Hart officiating. Burial will be in the Nichols Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home this evening.
She was born April 2, 1886, in Muscatine County, the daughter of Willis and Helen Sheu Trautman. She was married to Ray Norris on March 14, 1907, in Wapello.
Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Helen Tatge of Nichols; one brother and four sisters.
