Bertha E. Nash

NICHOLS. - Bertha E. Nash, 87, a lifelong resident of Nichols, died of injuries suffered in a car-pedestrian accident Monday at Pasadena, Calif., where she was visiting.
Services are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Nichols United Methodist Church, the Rev. Robert Foster officiating. Burial will be at Nichols Cemetery. Friends may call from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Snider Funeral Home in West Liberty.
Mrs. Nash was born to Isaac B. and Minerva E. Carl Shew Sept. 30, 1885 in Newton, Kans. She married Albert Nash June 6, 1906 at Nichols. She was a member of the Nichols United Methodist Church and Vesper Chapter 128 of the Order of the Eastern Star at Champaign, Ill.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. J. W. (Bernice) Hadley of Nichols; Mrs. Millard L. (Beula) Berry of Campaign, Ill.; a son, Dr. Edwin A. Nash of Superior, Wis.; several grandchildren: one great-grandchild: and a stepsister, Mrs. Frank (Stella) Foster of Royal Oaks, Mich.
Her husband died earlier.

MRS. BERTHA E. NASH

NICHOLS - Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha E. Nash. 87, of Nichols were held at 2 p.m. today at the Nichols United Methodist. Church with Rev. Robert Foster officiating. Marianne Phelps was organist.
Pallbearers were Roger Nash, Woodson Isles, Jeffrey McMorris, Robert Vierra, Earl Smith, John Loeb. Burial was in Nichols cemetery under the direction of Ihe Snider Funeral Home, West Liberty.
Mrs. Nash died Monday at Pasadena, Calif.
