Services to Be Held Saturday - Funeral services have been arranged for Richard L. Barry, 55, president of the Barry Co., who died at 3:25 p. m. Wednesday at Bellevue hospital following a several months illness. The body is at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home.

The services are scheduled at 9 a m. Saturday at St. Mathias church with the Rev. J. J. Welsh, pastor, officiating. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8 o'clock Friday evening. Burial will be at St. Mary's cemetery with military rites by Edward H. Bitzer Post No. 27 of the American Legion.

Mr. Barry was born Jan. 13 1899, at Muscatine, the son of Patrick J. and. Susan Klipes Barry. He was a life resident here. His marriage to Mildred Grossklaus took place March 1, 1937, in Muscatine.

He was in service with Battery "C" during World War I and was a charter member of Edward H. Bitzer Post No. 27 of the American Legion. He was a member of St. Mathias church and of Muscatine Elks Lodge No. 304.

Since June 30, 1947, he had been president of the Barry Co. His home was at 115 East Eleventh street.

Survivors include his wife, one brother, Robert K. Barry and one half-sister, Elizabeth Fierlein, all of Muscatine. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
