Mrs. Hermann, 67, Taken by Death; Service Saturday

Funeral services have been arranged for Mrs. Fred W. Hermann, 67, life resident of Muscatine who died at 6:25 a.m today at the Hershey Convalescent Home, following an extended illness. The body is at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home, where friends may call after Thursday noon.
The services are planned at 2 p. m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian church with Dr. H. C. Schneider of Des Moines in charge. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery.
Mrs. Hermann was born Oct 25, 1887, in Muscatine. Her marriage to Mr. Hermann took place here on May 16, 1916. She was a member of the first Presbyterian church and of the Muscatine Garden club. She was a past matron of Electa Chapter No. 32, Order of Eastern Star, a .past, worthy high priestess of Rose Croix Shrine No. 5, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, a charter member of El Bey Caldron No. 84, Daughters of Mokanna, and a member of Pyramid Tempel No. 10, Daughters of Nile, Davenport.

Surviving are her husband, at the family home, 709 Leroy street, one daughter, Mrs. Marlon K. Day, Oroville, Calif.; one brother, George Springborn, Muscatine; one sister, Mrs. Emma Stephens, Muscatine; and one grandchild.
Her parents and three brothers preceded her in death.
