MRS. JOHN PARK
Columbus Junction – Mrs. John Park 86, a former resident of Columbus Junction, died Jan. 7, at Alexandria, La. Death was due to a stroke.
Mrs. Park was the former Mrs. Cora Helverson, and was married to John Park at Columbus Junction in January, 1930. Park died at Columbus Junction in June of 1951.
Mrs. Park was a member of the Rebekah lodge. She is survived by two sons: D.J. Helverson, Alexandria, and I.J. Helverson, Carthage, Mo., and a step-son, Harold Park, of Columbus Junction.
Last rites will be held at the Stephens funeral home, in Columbus Junction, at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. W.L. Sanford, pastor of the Independent church, will officiate, and burial will be at Conesville.Burlington Hawk Eye Gazette
