West Liberty - The funeral of Mrs. M. G. Tooman, who died Thursday afternoon, was held from the house at 10 o’clock this morning, conducted by Rev. George Furnas. At the close of the services the remains were taken to Nichols, (Ia.) where there were services held at the M. E. church and she was laid to rest in the Nichols cemetery, by the side of her child. Those from a distance who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wells of Davenport, Mr. Ben Black and Miss Emma Black, of Audabon, (Ia.).
