J. PALLISCHECK AGED 98 YEARS, GOES IN DEATH
Joseph Henry Pallischeck, 98, a resident of Muscatine and vicinity for about 70 years, died this morning at Lipplegoes Nursing home after being in failing health for about three years.

He was born on April 28, 1856 in Germany and moved to this country and vicinity at the age of about 28. He lived in the Atalissa community before moving to Muscatine in 1901.

He Married Matilda Degler on Jan. 18, 1886 at St. Mary's church in Muscatine. She preceded him in death in November of 1924. He married Mary Anderson on Sept. 11, 1927 and she survies. Also surving are three sons, Henry, Frances, and Adolph all of Muscatine, one daughter, Mrs. Mary Fox, Muscatine; three step-children, Mrs. Freda Hillier and Ernest Ericksen, both of Davenport; and Henry Ericksen of Detroit, Mich.; 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Four sons and one daughter preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Mathias chruch. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p. m. Thursday at the Riley Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery wtih the Riley Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
