From Muscatine Journal, dated September 25, 1956, page 12:

"Mrs. Brewer, 90, Funeral to be Held Thursday

Services are planned at 2 p.m. Thursday at the George M. Witton Funeral Home for Mrs. Mollie Brewer, 90, who died Monday at the Grigg Nursing Home. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Brewer was born September 9, 1871 in Indiana. Her marriage to Free (Freeman M.) Brewer took place April 8, 1946 in Muscatine.

Survivors include one son, Clarence Baker, of Granite City, Illinois, three daughters; Mrs. Ella Rennie, of West Frankfort, Illinois, Mrs. Edsel Hall (Edith Pearl) of Rochester, Michigan, and Mrs. Dorothy Heatley, of Omaha, Nebraska, and a number of stepchildren.

Her husband preceded her in death."
