Mrs. Loeb, 64, Is Taken by Death; Services Sunday
Nichols – Mrs. William Loeb, 64, a lifelong resident of this community, died at her home at 1:30 p.m. Friday after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Methodist church. Burial will be at Nichols.
Mrs. Loeb, the former Miss Laura Isabelle Nash, was a daughter of Ida O. and John D. Nash, and was born Jan. 30, 1880 at Nichols. She was married to William E. Loeb June 22, 1917, at Nichols. Mrs. Loeb was a member of the Methodist church, of the Order of Eastern Star, and the Royal Neighbors.
Surviving are her husband, one son, Pvt. John M. Loeb, stationed at Camp Barkley, Tex., one granddaughter, Sharon Ruth Loeb, two brothers, Lee M. Nash, Des Moines and John V. Nash, Cedar Rapids, and one sister, Ila O. Nash, of Nichols.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and five brothers.The Muscatine Journal and News Tribune
