Janyce F. Grunder, age 58, of Moscow, Iowa, died Monday, January 22, 1996, at University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa.

Janyce F. Grunder was born on February 24, 937, to Mark “Mike” and Leona Batchelor McKillip in Muscatine, Iowa. She married Paul L. Grunder on January 21, 1978, in Wilton, Iowa. She was employed as a Purchasing Agent/Buyer for Carver Pump of Muscatine, Iowa. Janyce was a member of the United Methodist Church, Wilton, Iowa. Her greatest joy was her granddaughters and her family. She enjoyed the out doors, mushrooming, the Iowa Hawkeyes and horses.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 24 from 3-8 p.m. at Lacock-Bentley in Wilton, Iowa. The officiant will be Rev. Paul Pennington. Musical selections will be provided by organist Kathy Luethye and vocalist Henry Bentley.

Serving as casket bearers will be Robert Grunder, James Grunder, Roger Grunder, Josh McKillip, Mark McKillip, and Mike Coss. Serving as Honorary Casket Bearers will be Bill Stimmel, Bob Laucamp, Vern Babcock, Larry Beinke, Dewayne Dusenberry, Tom McQuillen, Kurt Leidel, Dave Davies and Ronnie Rahlf.

Interment will take place on Thursday, January 25th, at Klien Cemetery, Moscow, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband, Paul; Leona McKillip, her mother; daughters, Cindy Sterner of Moscow, Iowa, Tracey (Mrs. Joe) Dugan of Moscow, Iowa, Beth (Mrs. Bob) Horvath of Easton, PA; sons, Bill (Sue) Grunder of Moscow, Iowa. Michael Grunder of Wilton, Iowa; sister, Joyce (Mrs. Jerry) Coss of Wilton, Iowa; brother, Mark “Buzz” (Karen) McKillip of Wilton, Iowa; three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mark “Mike” McKillip; and her brother Kiel McKillip.
