Diena Marie Stutz, 81, of Kahoka, Missouri, died Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk.

Services were held Friday, May 9, at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Kahoka, Missouri. Reverend Ken Beckmann officiated. Music was provided by Ida Lou Ross and John Spray. Pallbearers were Josh Buschling, Randy Lipper, Ron Callison, Larry Arnold, Lance Arnold, Larry Perry, Ralph Ball and Dewey Frey. Interment was in the St. Paul Cemetery in Kahoka, Missouri.

She was born September 11, 1921, in rural Wyaconda, Missouri, the daughter of Lester Carl and Millie Izetta Billings Lipper. On June 29, 1940, she married Bradley Howard Stutz in Kahoka, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 7, 1983.

She had lived in Clark County all her life. She was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ and the Sugar Creek Social Club. She was a housewife and helped her husband on the farm. She enjoyed quilting and gardening, and loved white cats, believing they brought her good luck.

She is survived by a daughter, Louise McCoy and her husband, Robert, of West Liberty; a son, Ronnie Stutz of O’Fallon, Missouri; a grandson, Michael Scott McCoy of Austin, Texas; four sisters, Delila Evermon and her husband, George, of Wyaconda, Missouri, Nelda Mae Overhulser of Kahoka, Missouri, Twila Elders and her husband, James, of Burlington, and Willa Merle Bronstine and her husband, Virgil, of Canton, Missouri; two brothers, Kenneth Lipper and his wife, Mary, of Kahoka, Missouri, and Clayton Lipper and his wife Carol, of Sperry; and three sisters-in-law, Bessie Lipper of Hamilton, Illinois, Marjorie Lipper of Montrose and Mildred Lipper of Burlington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Raymond, Dean and Delbert Lipper; and one brother-in-law, Wayne Overhulser.
