Rita Ann Martens, age 51, of East Moline Illinois, formerly of West Liberty, died Sunday, July 30, (1988?) at her home.

Services were held Wednesday at the Gibson Funeral Home in Port Byron, Illinois. Burial was in Oakridge Cemetery in West Liberty.

Rita Ann Mitchell was born January 2, 1938 in West Liberty. She married Rodney Martens November 1, 1958, in West Liberty. She had been employed at ARA Food Services, Moline, working in the john Deere Harvester plant since 1975.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Pam Brandle, Moline; a son, Brook, Geneseo; one grandchild; her mother, Susie Mitchell, East Moline; and a brother, Ray W. Mitchell, Cedar Rapids.
