Mrs. Grace Mott, 92, 2001 Cedar Street, Muscatine, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 1995, at the Muscatine Care Center, after an extended illness.
Mrs. Mott was born December 19, 1903, in Rio, Illinois, the daughter of Ralph Dennis and Mary Rogers Streeter. She married Harold Mott on October 26, 1922, in Galesburg, Illinois. She moved to West Liberty in 1938, and has been a Muscatine resident since 1960.
Survivors include son, Ralph (Mable) Mott of Edwards, Missouri; three daughters, Joan Martin, of Treynor, Iowa, Tuddy England, of Clarence, Iowa, and Mrs. Hubert (Donna) Hepker, of Muscatine; eleven grandchildren; and several great and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1976; a daughter, Mary, in 1989; two sisters; two grandsons; and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 30, 1995, at the Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Helms in charge. The organist was Vada Timm. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Muscatine.
