Marshall Shaw, 64, died at his home at 224 Fletcher street, at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the George M. Wittich funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park cemetery.

Mr. Shaw was employed by the Barry Pulley Co., and had lived here since Jan. 11, 1944. He was a former resident of Washington, IA. He was born Dec. 10, 1895, at Tiptonville, Tenn., the son of Albert and Sarah Leadora Clayton Shaw.

He was married to Bertie Gardner, and she preceded him in death. He was married Oct. 26, 1926 at Portageville, MO., to Harriet Lee More. He was of the Baptist faith, and a member of Iowa Lodge No. 2 AF & AM.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Harriet Shaw; two sons, Albert Lee Shaw at home, and Clellon Shaw of Aledo, Ill.; and twin grandsons, Lloyd and Boyd Shaw of Aledo.
