Services: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, Runge Mortuary, 838 E. Kimberly Road, Davenport. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, mortuary.

Muscatine, Iowa-Delbert L. Lobdell, 69, Muscatine, died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005, at Davenport Lutheran Home.
Burial will be at Montpelier Cemetery, Montpelier.
Memorials may be made to the Montpelier Fire Department, Buffalo Ambulance Service or Beacon of Hope Hospice.
Mr. Lobdell was born Nov. 23, 1936, in Montpelier, the son of Delbert J. and Ruth Teitsch Lobdell. He married Dorothy Jean Richardson on March 10, 1956, in Montpelier. She preceded him in death May 15, 1996.
He farmed in the Muscatine County area for many years and was also employed by Occidental Chemical Co., Buffalo, prior to retiring.
He loved to travel, fish and hunt. He collected Indian artifacts and model antiques cars. He loved Country Western music.
Survivors include three daughters, Tina Tyler and her husband Bob of West Liberty, Michelle "Shelly" Hopp and husband John of Davenport and Susan Lobdell-Ramirez of Durango, Colo.; two sons, Michael Lobdell and wife Debbie and Jeffrey Lobdell, all of Muscatine; grandchildren, Tiffany, Heather, Joe, Christopher, Steven, Megan, Melissa, Abbie, and Dale; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Kenadie and Wyatt; three brothers, Darrell of Donna, Texas, Duane of Blue Grass and Allen of Montpelier.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and two sisters, Carole Krieger and Audrey Brink.
